Rates & Sessions
Everything You Need to know
Sessions will be a week long (Mon-Fri), with a weekly field trip! Camp will run from 9am - 4pm. Each session will have an educational based theme. *Every Friday will be a 1/2 day. Pick up time on Fridays will be 12:30pm. There will be no lunch or after care available on Fridays.
First session will run from Monday June 17th - Friday June 21st 2024 with the last session running Monday August 5th - Friday August 9th 2024. There will be NO session the week of July 1st - July 5th.
Rates:

1 child = $150 for 1 session/week

2 Children = $200 for 1 session/week (total for 2 children)

3 children = $275 for 1 session/week (total for 3 children)
Before Care/After Care options:

Before Care will be offered each day from 7:30am-9:00am.

Price for Before Care is $15 for 1 child for the week, $20 for 2 children for the week, and $25 for 3 children for the week. We will offer a Before Care snack as well.

After Care will be offered from 4:00pm-5:30pm. The price for After Care is $15 for 1 child for the week., $20 for 2 children for the week, $25 for 3 children for the week. We will offer an After Care Snack as well.

If your family needs both Before Care and After Care the cost is as follows: for 1 child=$20 for the week, 2 children=$30 for the week, 3 children=$40 for the week.
Food and Drinks

Laugh N Learn will provide two snacks a day, one snack mid morning and one snack in the afternoon.

Families will be required to send a lunch with their child each day.

Families are encouraged to send a water bottle labeled with their child's name each day.
How to sign your child up for Camp
1. When you and your child have decided which session(s) they would like to attend, please email us at laughnlearnsummercamp@gmail.com. In your email please let us know how many children you would like to register, their name, age, and what sessions you want to sign them up for.
2. After we receive an email with interest we will email you back letting you know if there are spots available, our Parent Handbook, a link to an online form to complete registration, and an online form to complete about tuition payment.
How to pay

You can pay your session tuition by electronic payment through Venmo, PayPal, or CashApp (more info on tuition form).

You can also pay your session tuition by check. Checks can be made payable to Brittany Martinez and on the memo line: your child's name and what it is for. For example "John Doe - summer camp tuition".
Sessions
June 17th - June 21st
Jr. Engineers (Entering 1st-4th Grade in the Fall)
This week we will be learning about engineering! We will experience a lesson all about simple machines! We will discuss push and pull. We will have some fun with Legos! Your child will learn what it means to be an engineer through interactive and hands on lessons! This session's field trip will be to Impression 5 Science Center!
June 24th - June 28th
Out of This World - Space Week! (Entering 1st-4th Grade in the Fall)
This week your child will be learning about the Sun, Moon, and other stars. We will get to know all about Earth's orbit and rotation! We will have hands on and interactive lessons. This session's field trip will be to the MSU Planetarium!
July 8th - July 12th
Jr. Paleontologists (Entering 1st-4th Grade in the Fall)
Does your child love Dinosaurs? This session is all about Dinos! When did dinosaurs live? What did dinosaurs eat? What did dinosaurs look like? During our lessons we will dive into prehistoric times and learn more about these interesting creatures. We will end our session with a field trip to the Michigan Historical Museum!
July 15th - July 19th
Animal & Plant Friends (Entering 1st-4th Grade in the Fall)
This week we will be learning all about plants and animals! We will learn all about biodiversity on Earth, and the relationship between plants and animals. We will also learn about living vs. non-living things & animal adaptations! For this session's field trip we will visit Harris Nature Center!
July 22nd - July 26th
Science Magicians (Entering 1st-4th Grade in the Fall)
This week your child will be exploring chemical and physical reactions through hands on and interactive activities paired with fun experiments! We will also learn what science is all about and explore energy, states of matter, and more! Field Trip TBD
July 29th - August 2nd
Bug Detectives (Entering 1st-4th Grade in the Fall)
If your child loves to look for bugs while playing outside this session will be perfect for them! This week we will take a look at different insects and have hands on activities for your child to enjoy! We will get to know all about insect life! For our field trip for this session we will visit The MSU Bug House!
